Manfred Thierry Mugler (December 21, 1948 - January 23, 2022) was a French fashion designer. He founded his eponymous fashion house in the 1970s and in the following decades quickly made a name for himself in the world of haute couture. Thierry Mugler was one of the first designers to advocate for diversity in their shows, against racism and ageism.
