Manfred Thierry Mugler (December 21, 1948 - January 23, 2022) was a French fashion designer. He founded his eponymous fashion house in the 1970s and in the following decades quickly made a name for himself in the world of haute couture. Thierry Mugler was one of the first designers to advocate for diversity in their shows, against racism and ageism.

The house became known for its bold fragrances and architectural silhouettes, which left a lasting mark on the fashion of the eighties and nineties.
