How to use BIAFINE®, emulsion for skin application?
Always use this medicine according to the instructions in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt.
Erythema secondary to radiation therapy: Follow your doctor's recommendations. Generally, 2 to 3 applications per day, at equal intervals, with a light massage.
Second-degree burns and other skin wounds: It is important to consult your doctor. After cleaning the wound, apply a thick layer that extends beyond the surface of the lesion and repeat applications in order to always keep an excess of emulsion on the lesion. Cover it if necessary with a wet compress and complete the dressing. Do not use absorbent dry dressings.
First-degree burns: In case of extensive burns, it is necessary to consult a doctor. Apply in a thick layer until the skin rejects. Apply with light massage. Repeat 2 to 4 times a day.
Method of administration: Percutaneous.
If you have any other questions about the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
